Dirk Meißner

has studied aerospace technology at the Bundeswehr University in Munich. Afterwards, he accumulated 7 years of experience in international project management with the Eurofighter engine and as a project manager for a vehicle manufacturer. At the same time, he finished a second degree in economics. 21 years ago, Meissner made the switch into the consulting business. In 2004, after several leading positions in three consulting firms, he became partner. Meissner founded CO-Improve Consulting in 2012.

Gerrit Gerland

After his studies in mechanical engineering, he has held various positions in the automotive industry for more than 16 years. Most recently, he was in charge of HR and organizational development in Europe for MAGNA Electronics before he decided 8 years ago to transition into consulting. He has experience in managing projects in Europe, Asia and the US. His clients include companies from the automotive supplier/manufacturer industry, electronics and mechanical engineering.

Ralf Schäfer

an aerospace technology engineer, has accumulated 13 years of consulting experience from more than 50 consulting projects with more than 20 companies in Germany and abroad. His focus areas are strategy, organization, manufacturing, product creation and procurement. Before working as a consultant, he spent ten years in the industry, among others working for Adam Opel AG and General Motors. His clients include companies from the automotive industry, aerospace, rail vehicle construction, mechanical engineering and plant engineering.

Gunther Reibe

has led enterprises through their transformation process for more than 15 years.

Gunther is a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and an expert in project management, efficiency growth, innovation and change management. An economist with practical industry experience, Gunther specializes in converting identified potential efficiencies into innovative growth. Gunther is able to apply professional knowledge in business engineering as well as his extensive expertise to change management projects, as a result of his long-standing experience as an international executive and CEO in Europe and Latin America. In the last few years, he was responsible for change processes in Chile, Colombia and Brazil, working for renowned companies like ThyssenKrupp and Sika. He speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Herbert Schönebeck

supports customers at all levels of their agile transformation – from the development of methods expertise, through to the implementation of an agile leadership culture. Herbert is a qualified engineer and experienced consultant. Markus Weck Bonetti

has been a consultant for 23 years, focusing on production and logistics. His experience covers more than 100 consulting projects in Germany and abroad. As an interim manager, Bonetti had responsibility for corporate restructuring and the reorganization of business processes. Günter Watzlawik

spent more than 20 years working in the sales, purchasing and legal departments of some of the world’s largest providers of digital typeface-software, before joining the CO-Improve-Team in January 2016. Dr. Nicolas Vortmeyer

has more than two decades’ worth of expertise in innovation and technology. Over the period, he gained experience as an engineer, project and development manager, chief technology officer, chief strategy officer and technical director.

At CO-Improve, Dr. Vortmeyer supports and advises organizations throughout their innovation cycles - from conception to effective implementation. He is an efficient manager of consultancy projects, having achieved solutions for start-ups as well as multinational corporations. His skillset ranges from industry and mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, plant construction and process engineering to cleantech, IoT and digitization.

Oliver Schönfeld

has 15 years’ worth of experience as a process consultant, putting his methodological expertise to impressive use across a range of industries. In that time, the electrical engineering graduate founded his own start-up, but also worked as a systems developer and project manager for large corporations. His sector management expertise spans telecommunication networks and household appliances as well as construction machinery, railways, energy and medical technology.

Oliver’s work embodies the values and principles of agile project development - for startup companies or multinationals - with methods such as Scrum, SAFe and LeSS. He brings structural thinking and experience with methods such as the V-model, CMMI or SPICE, regularly leading to successful project outcomes for clients. Oliver also provides customer training and innovation workshops, alongside support for agile transitions.

Frank Duda

has more than 20 years of consulting experience, working for renowned global corporations across the automotive, aircraft, energy and craft industries. His roles have included conceiving organizational models to support classic and agile project management, overseeing the digital and agile transformation of corporate divisions, and implementing vision and strategy development. He has also been responsible for adapting processes and personnel within corporations. Torsten Blume

supports the CO-Improve team as senior consultant with a focus on product development processes and quality management. Customers in mechanical and plant engineering, agricultural engineering, electronics, IT and automotive have all benefited from his rich knowledge. Torsten is a chartered engineer with an MBA and an apprenticeship as a measurement and control mechanic. Working as a consultant, as well as mechanic, quality manager and project manager for several medium-sized firms, Torsten has been involved in more than 50 consultancy projects across 20 companies.

Markus Meier

has been an indelible part of the CO-Improve team for almost four years. Following his apprenticeship, the skilled mechanical engineer and technical business economist worked for several years in various positions with medium-sized industrial companies. As Director of R&D and head of project management for Mekra Lang GmbH & Co., he managed global customer and development projects, gaining substantial experience in product strategy and product development. He became a consultant in 2011, focusing on performance increase in product development. Companies like Daimler, Osram and Benteler have benefited significantly from the knowledge of this passionate winemaker.

Andreas Grohmann

has more than 17 years’ experience working in the automotive industry. During that time the business studies graduate held several positions including project manager (both nationally and internationally), organization and process advisor and executive for production, R&D and strategy. More recently, he has been very active within the rising e-mobility market. As an entrepreneur, he contributed significantly to a start up’s successful implementation of an e-mobility charging solution. Additionally, as an e-mobility project manager, he oversaw a large Agile hardware project for a premium manufacturer.

Marten Beier

is a junior consultant at CO-Improve. During his dual program of study in industrial engineering in Mannheim, Martin had already worked for a couple of years in different positions for General Electrics. Within project management, he was jointly responsible for the development and implementation of a site risk assessment and site office tool. He decided on a career in management consultancy upon graduation, with a focus on implementation of agile methods.

Lea Rossow

joined CO-Improve in 2019 as a junior consultant after completing her cultural studies course. During her studies, she dealt with agile product development in companies. Simultaneously, she extended her theoretical knowledge as a working student at the VW subsidiary MAN Truck and Bus, supporting agile corporate development as part of the transition team. She took part in the implementation of a transformation strategy as well as communication and change campaigns. At CO-Improve she is primarily responsible for coaching agile working methods, consulting and the development of corporate and organisational cultures.
